Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance on organizational commitment, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, in female nurses at the Intensive Care Installation of the Regional General Hospital of West Nusa Tenggara Province. Data was collected using questionnaires, with a population of 76 female nurses and a sample size of 76 participants. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4.0 tool. The results show that, first, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Second, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Third, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Fourth, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction. The findings of this study can serve as a basis for improving and maintaining work-life balance, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction among female nurses in the Intensive Care Installation of the Regional General Hospital of West Nusa Tenggara Province.
